The 2nd Annual Holoholo-Ween Brings Ohana Fall Festivities to Pa’auilo

by Thunda

This year, Big Island Pulse has partnered with Hawaii Green Earth Farm in beautiful Pa’auilo to bring you the festivities and vibes that the Fall season provides!!

This Holoholo-ween features a quarter-acre pumpkin patch with all the genuine pumpkin patch feels, certified organic pumpkins for purchase and decorating, a cane grass maze, farm animal feeding, festive concessions featuring food, and a variety of vendors! Oh, and can’t forget the selfie photo stations, gotta have those!!

This family-friendly event opens Saturday, October 15, and runs Saturday and Sunday for three consecutive weekends, ending on October 30th. Gates open for entry at 10A and close at 4P.

The venue is set at Hawaii Green Earth Farm in Pa’auilo, a 93-acre working farm that has proudly won five state records for their giant produce, including a giant pumpkin weighing a whopping 636lbs and a giant gourd smashing the scale at 198lbs!

Last year, Holoholo-Ween hosted over 5,600 guests and we hope to smash that record with the ease of Covid restrictions and more features for the entire ‘ohana to enjoy! Proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to local nonprofit organizations including Hawai’i Island Food Basket, The GIVE Volunteer Scholarship Program, Domestic Violence Center, Studio Shaka, and PETFIX Spay and Neuter. Guests will have an opportunity to learn more about each organization and how to show their support for them during this event.

The 2nd Annual Holoholo-Ween Fall Fest & Pumpkin Patch offers something for everyone and is sure to put y’all in the comforting, festive fall vibe of the season! Big Mahalo to the community and all our participating sponsors, including our title sponsors: Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water, Mokulele Airlines and Resonate Hawai’i- including their stations, The Wave 92FM, Lava 105.3, The Beach 102.7, and Koa Country 107.7!
