Three Coffee With a Cop Events Slated for West Hawai‘i in February

West Hawai‘i residents will have three opportunities to talk story with members of the Hawai‘i Police Department this month during Coffee With a Cop events. The popular community get-togethers are an excellent way for island residents to get to know their area community policing officers over a cup of coffee.

This casual event has no agenda and topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.

  • Friday, February 11, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Kona Grill House, 81-951 Halekii St., Kealakekua.
  • Friday, February 18, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Dr., Kailua-Kona.
  • Friday, February 25, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at Kona Coffee & Tea, 74-5588 Palani Rd., Kailua-Kona.

Coffee With a Cop events will take place in West Hawai‘i on:

Stop by and get to know your district and Community Police Officers over a cup of coffee; discuss topics of mutual interest and concern.

We will adhere to all social distancing guidelines maintaining the 6 feet distance and wearing of masks. We will also be restricting access should the max capacity be reached. Tables and chairs will be sanitized after each use.

This event will be subject to change with regard to COVID-19 restrictions and or additional proclamations issued by county and state government.
