TRAFFIC IMPACT NOTICE: HĀWĪ ROAD CLOSED NORTHBOUND LANE – WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 22, 2025

KAPA‘AU, NORTH KOHALA, HAWAI‘I – The Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai‘i, will be conducting fire hydrant replacement work on Hāwī Road, south of the intersection with Akoni Pule Highway (Route 270), in Kapa‘au on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

The work will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. During this time, the northbound lane of Hāwī Road will be closed. One alternating lane will remain open with traffic control in place. Motorists are advised to expect delays and should plan their travel accordingly.
