Volcano Man Released Under Coronavirus Freedom Act 2021 Wanted Again

On June 7, 2021, Patrick Aaron Munoz filed a motion for release for Bowers. Two days later, a memorandum in opposition to the defendant’s motion for release was filed by the Prosecutions office. The motion was heard by Judge Henry T. Nakamoto who reviewed the motion and opposition, Stated he understood the situation, and granted Bowers to be placed on supervised release but with conditions.

Today, Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 36-year-old Thomas Lou Robert Bowers, of Volcano. He is wanted for two outstanding Hilo Family Court warrants and for questioning in connection with a criminal investigation for property crimes.

Bowers is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
