Water Conservation cancelled for Hilo customers

AFFECTED AREAS: MAJORITY OF HILO SYSTEM, FROM PAUKA‘A TO PANA‘EWA, AND INCLUDING WAIĀKEA-UKA, AND KEAUKAHA; SOUTH HILO, HAWAI‘I

This is an important update from the Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai‘i.

Effective immediately, the Water Conservation is cancelled for Hilo customers in the affected areas. Repairs have been completed. Normal water use may resume.

The DWS thanks affected customers and the public for their cooperation, patience, and understanding while it worked to repair the damaged water main and maintain the community’s supply of safe drinking water.
