A water main break at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Maliu Road has left parts of Hāwī, North Kohala, without water service. The Department of Water Supply (DWS) is actively working to repair the issue and expects to restore service by 7:00 p.m. tonight.

The affected area includes portions of Lincoln Avenue, Maliu Road, and nearby side streets. Residents are advised to plan accordingly during this outage.

To assist those impacted, a water tanker has been stationed at the north side of the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Park Road for public use.

For updates, customers can visit the DWS website at hawaiidws.org. Those with questions or concerns may contact DWS during normal business hours at (808) 887-3030 or (808) 961-8060. For after-hours emergencies, call (808) 961-8790, or email dws@hawaiidws.org.

The DWS extends its gratitude for residents’ patience and understanding during this time.
