The County of Hawai‘i Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division, announces the calibration of its Pu‘uanahulu Scale on Thursday, August 4. As a result, all facility users should expect delays or make alternate plans for disposal.

The contractor will be on-site at 8 a.m. on August 4. Work will happen intermittently and is scheduled to be complete by the end of the day.

We want to thank everyone for doing their part in responsibly disposing of solid waste and green waste and ensuring that our island home continues to be a clean and safe paradise.
