KEALAKEHE, HAWAI’I<\/strong> \u2014 The County of Hawai’i Department of Environmental Management has announced the early closure of the Kealakehe Transfer Station today, January 6, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. The early closure is due to a temporary staffing shortage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The transfer station is expected to resume its regular operating hours on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Environmental Management has apologized for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected early closure and has expressed gratitude for the public’s patience and understanding.
