UPDATE: Hawai\u2018i Island police report that 14-year-old Zealand Brickwood, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located in Puna on Friday, April 11, in good health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mountain View, Hawai’i –<\/strong> The Hawai\u2018i Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Zealand Brickwood, who was reported missing on Sunday, April 6, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Puna Patrol, Brickwood was last seen at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Rose Street in the Fern Acres subdivision within Mountain View. He was wearing a black hat, a royal blue t-shirt, blue denim shorts, and black socks with sandals at the time of his disappearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brickwood is described as having a tan complexion and a thin build. He stands approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officer Heiarii Lee Chip Sao of the Puna Patrol is leading the investigation. The case is filed under report number 25-031716.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police are urging anyone with information regarding Brickwood’s whereabouts to contact the Hawai\u2018i Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
