Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.  All projects are weather permitting.

— KANOELEHUA AVENUE (ROUTE 11) —

1) KEAAU

Single lane closure on Kanoelehua Avenue (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 5 and 7, Ikaika Street and Keaau Loop, on Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for tree trimming and shoulder restoration.

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

1) PAHALA

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 52.6 and 54.5, vicinity of Maile Street and Kaalaiki Road, on Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for mowing with side arm.

2) CAPTAIN COOK

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 94 and 96, Ahe Kolo Place and Kaohe Road, on Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for vegetation trimming.

— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) HILO

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between mile markers 4 and 6, Kulana Kea Drive and Kaaukai Place, on Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for tree trimming, mulching, and shoulder restoration.

2) HAKALAU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction near mile marker 13.8, near Kolekole Beach Park, on Saturday, July 16 through Friday, July 22, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for bridge repair work.

3) HONOMU (24/7 RESTRICTION)

Kolekole Bridge at mile marker 14.27 on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) is weight restricted to 12 tons (24,000 lbs.) until further notice. The speed limit in the area is reduced to 25 mph. See https://hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/weight-limit-for-kolekole-bridge-now-12-tons/ for details.

— KALANIANAOLE AVENUE (ROUTE 19) —

1) KEAUKAHA

Single lane closure on Kalanianaole Avenue (Route 19) possible in either direction between Kamehameha Avenue and Kauhane Avenue, nightly from 7 p.m. Monday, July 18 through 5 a.m. Friday, July 22, for the Kalanianaole Avenue Reconstruction. — KEAAU-PAHOA ROAD/ PAHOA-KALAPANA ROAD (ROUTE 130) —

1) KEAAU

Single lane closure on Keauu-Pahoa Road (Route 130) possible in either direction between mile marker 0 and 2, Volcano Road to vicinity of Opukahala Street, Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for tree trimming and shoulder restoration.

2) PAHOA

Single lane closure on Pahoa-Kalapana Road (Route 130) possible in either direction between mile marker 12 and 15, Kaohe Homestead Road and Alaili Road, Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for mowing with side arm.

3) PAHOA

Single lane closure on Pahoa-Kalapana Road (Route 130) possible in either direction near mile marker 15.4, Alaili Road, on Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for pavement and guardrail improvements.

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 190) —

1) KAMUELA

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) possible in either direction between mile markers 3.9 and 6.9, Saddle Road and Cross Island Road, on Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for shoulder widening, installation of rumble strips and other safety improvements.

2) KAMUELA

Right lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) in the southbound direction near mile marker 5.6, in the vicinity of Saddle Road, on Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for construction of a new access road to the HELCO Switchyard.

— AKONI PULE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 270) —

1) KAWAIHAE

Single lane closure on Akoni Pule Highway (Route 270) possible in either direction between mile markers 2 and 5, Kaewa Place and Kohala Ranch Road, on Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for vegetation trimming and shoulder restoration.
