Different Level Boxing Episode 6: Countering the Jab

by Thunda
1 minutes read

In Today’s Workout: We show 3 basic counters off your opponent’s jab. On the 1st counter, I like to parry their jab with my strong hand and come back with a quick jab. This helps me get the timing and distance of my opponent. On the 2nd counter, I slip their jab and slide in with my jab. I put a little extra on that stuff jab and if the opportunity is there I follow up with the right hand. On the 3rd counter, I slip their jab and I come back with my straight right. As I slip their jab I also spring and explode off my back leg to add power to this counter. These are 3 basic counters that I like to use. Give it a try I hope you liked this video.
