The Department of Parks & Recreation announces that its Recreation Division will host an organizational meeting for the upcoming age group volleyball league.
The meeting will be held Thursday, August 8 at 5 p.m. at Aunty Sally Kaleohano’s Lū‘au Hale in Hilo.
Age group youth volleyball is open to boys and girls ages 10 and under, 12 and under, and 14 and under.
At the meeting, team packets will be distributed, and league rules, format and scheduling will be discussed.
The league’s fall season is scheduled to run from Sept. 16 to Nov. 7 with games played Monday-Thursday.
