Hilo, Hawaiʻi – Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 30-year-old Brian McGowan, who has been reported as missing. There is concern that McGowan may be in need of medical assistance.
McGowan was last seen on the afternoon of July 10, 2025, in the area of the 300 block of Waianuenue Avenue in Hilo.
He is described as having a light complexion, standing 6 feet tall, and weighing approximately 165 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. When he was last seen, McGowan was reportedly wearing a red shirt and red pants.
Police are urging anyone with information about Brian McGowan’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311.
