NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following matters to be considered by the Windward Planning Commission of the County of Hawaii in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 6-7.5(a) of the Charter of the County of Hawaii; and Planning Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure.

This is an in-person meeting, and the Windward Planning Commissioners will participate in person. The primary way to view or testify at this meeting is in-person; however, as a courtesy to the public, the Commission provides the following additional ways to view or testify remotely at this meeting.

NEW BUSINESS – 9:00 a.m.

1. APPLICANT: ROBERT J. SILBER (PL-SPP-2022-000016)

Application for a Special Permit to legitimize the operation of a holistic education center on approximately 8.134 acres of land in the State Land Use Agricultural District. The subject property is located at 13-2060 Lolia Place, approximately 0.3 miles northwest (mauka) of its intersection with Kalapana-Kapoho Beach Road, Pohoiki, Puna, Hawaii, TMK: (3) 1-3- 002:140.

2. APPLICANT: SHALEEN CURLEE (AMEND SPP 1139/PL-SPP-2022- 000023)

Application for a ten (10)-year time extension to Condition No. 2 (life of permit) of Special Permit No. 1139, which allowed the establishment of an auto repair shop and towing service operation on 4,421 square feet of land in the State Land Use Agricultural District. The subject property is located at 15-1505 Paradise Drive, on the northeast corner of the 19th Avenue- Paradise Drive intersection, Hawaiian Paradise Park Subdivision, Keaau, Puna, Hawaii, TMK: (3) 1-5-041:190.
