Hawaii Island Police Seek Public’s Help to Locate Missing “At Risk” Man

UPDATE: Joshua Apolo, who was reported missing on 04-25-2025, has been located in good health.


Hilo, HI – The Hawaii Island Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 33-year-old Joshua Apolo, who was last seen on April 25, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m. in the 100 block of Leimamo Street in Hilo.

Apolo is described as a male standing 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 190 pounds.

Police consider Apolo to be “at risk” and endangered, as he may be in need of medical assistance.

Anyone with information regarding Joshua Apolo’s whereabouts is urged to immediately call 911 or contact the Hawaii Island Police Department.
