KALAPANA TRANSFER STATION NOW OPEN TWICE A WEEK

The Hawaiʻi County Department of Environmental Management announces an additional service day at the Kalapana Transfer Station, starting earlier than expected. Beginning Wednesday, July 10th, the station will be open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Our administration is dedicated to maintaining high-quality and efficient solid waste services for all communities. We appreciate the community’s support in helping us find ways to improve.
