My sisters husband just died of cancer. Their home is an apartment a block from banyan beach. This home sold and now my sister and her daughter must relocate by Christmas. That’s not right, but as a community we are doing our best to take care of them. And the community in Kona is coming through.
I have written the man who sold their home as my brother was on his deathbed (covid stopped his cancer treatment, but didn’t deter the landlords) , asking for 30 more days for them to grieve and complete the move.
