Police Reiterate Call for Information on Missing Pāhoa Veteran Kelly Gravitt

PĀHOA, HAWAIʻI – Hawaiʻi Island police are once again urging the public to come forward with any information regarding the disappearance of 34-year-old Kelly Gravitt of Pāhoa. This marks the eighth update in the ongoing effort to locate Gravitt, who was last reportedly seen on the evening of May 19, 2023, in the vicinity of Pāhoa Village Road and Kauhale Street in Pāhoa town.

Detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigation Section have been actively investigating Gravitt’s disappearance for nearly two years, conducting numerous interviews and follow-up investigations. Gravitt’s family remains deeply concerned for his well-being.

Kelly Gravitt is described as a Caucasian male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes, a beard, and distinctive tattoos on his face and neck. Notably, Gravitt is a combat-wounded veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart.

Police are asking anyone who may have any information, no matter how small it may seem, that could shed light on Kelly Gravitt’s disappearance to contact the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311.
