Police Search for Five East Hawai‘i Runaways (LOCATED)

Update: ALL 5 runaways have been located safe and in good health.


Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating five east Hawai‘i runaways.

All were last seen in the area of the 1000 block of Leilani Street in Hilo on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 7:50 p.m. At the time they were each wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts. and shoes.

Diatson Kosme

Sixteen-year-old Diatson Kosme is described as being local with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 8 inches, 123 pounds, with shaved black hair and brown eyes.

George Kamuelo

Sixteen-year-old George Kamuelo is described as being local with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 5 inches, 115 pounds, with shaved black hair and brown eyes.

Matthew Westerman

Seventeen-year-old Matthew Westerman is described as being local with a light complexion, 5 feet 7 inches, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Julior Hartman

Sixteen-year-old Julio Hartman is described as being local with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 8 inches, 120 pounds, with shaved black hair and brown eyes.

Stanford Killion

Seventeen-year-old Stanford Killion is described as being local with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 8 inches, 120 pounds, with shaved black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on their whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
