Carl-Smith was last seen on Sunday, August 1, 2021, walking in the area of Apa‘a Road and Pahoa Village Road in Pāhoa wearing a black in color short-sleeved t-shirt, blue jeans, and slippers. He is known to frequent the Puna and Honoka‘a areas.
He is described as being Caucasian with a tan complexion, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 200-225 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
