Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing Pāhoa Man

UPDATE: Hawai‘i Island police report that 25-year-old Tre’lo Bailey, who was previously reported as missing, was located in Puna on Monday, December 30, 2024, in good health.


Hawai‘i Island police are seeking assistance from the public in locating 25-year-old Tre’lo Bailey, a resident of Pāhoa, who has been reported missing.

Bailey was last seen visiting family in Washington State in September 2024 before returning to Hawai‘i Island. Despite his return, he was not reported missing until recently. Authorities believe Bailey may be residing in either the Hilo or Puna districts.

Bailey is described as standing 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Bailey’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.

This is an active investigation, and police are urging the community to share any leads to assist in locating Bailey.
