Last night around 11:38 pm. Hawaii Fire Department (HFD) received a call about a structure fire in Nanawale Estates.  Upon arrival at 11:48 pm, HFD found a single-story, 600 sq ft, unfinished residential structure ablaze. Around half the structure was estimated to be engulfed in flames with the fire contained to the structure with no spread of fire to the surrounding brush and/or foliage.

Hawaii Fire Department personnel were able to extinguish the fire and performed an overhaul. Hawaii Police Department (HPD) arrived on the scene and started gathering info from neighbors.

The house appeared to be abandoned with no power and no source of water. The neighbors claim someone was living there. However, no one was found on the scene and the house was mainly empty.

The scene was left in the care of HFD fire inspectors and HPD with the cause of the fire currently still under investigation.
