
Kealakekua, Hawai’i Island – The Hawai’i Police Department has launched an investigation into a terroristic threatening incident at Kona Pacific Charter School in Kealakekua. The investigation began on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, after a juvenile female allegedly made verbal threats of violence against another female student.
According to police reports, the suspect threatened the victim with violence involving a firearm and stated that the threatened act would occur at the school.
Due to the ages of the involved parties, their names are being withheld. The juvenile suspect was not arrested, and detectives with the Area II Juvenile Aid Section are continuing the investigation.
