“Steadfast in its pursuit of identifying those who take the life of another”
Hawai‘i Police Department believes every victim deserves justice, and that the deceased victim’s family, friends, and community deserve closure.
There is NO statute of limitations on murder. Our dedicated Unsolved Homicides Division, steadfast in its pursuit of identifying those who take the life of another, is responsible for following all leads and evidence in unsolved homicide investigations. Our detectives see it as their solemn duty to bring these killers to justice.
We recognize that the department’s greatest resource in solving homicide cases is information from witnesses, family, friends, and our island community.
Please take a moment to review the Unsolved Homicides summaries and if you have any information pertaining to any of these cases, please email us or call our Unsolved Homicides Division at (808) 961-2380 or Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300. Thank you for your help!
