The County of Hawai‘i Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division, announces the reopening of Greenwaste Collection at its Volcano Transfer Station beginning Monday, April 12, 2021.

I Remember years ago – you could stop by 24/7 drop ur rubbish- the reason they want to fence them in is NOT for safety, i have stopped at literally all hours of the night in Volcano – 2am 3 am going to work- never seen any criminal activity UNLESS you count some needy person taking “THEIR” recyclables. Never a Problem there.
