Hawai‘i Island Police Seek Public’s Assistance Finding 13-year-old Runaway Daniel Soares (LOCATED)

UPDATE:Hawai‘i Island police report that 13-year-old Daniel Soares of Mountain View, who had previously been reported as a runaway, was located in Hilo in good health

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Daniel Soares of Mountain View, who was reported as a runaway.

Soares was last seen on Thursday afternoon, February 25, 2021, in the Fern Acres subdivision in Mountain View. He is described as being 5’-4” tall, 100 – 120 pounds, with reddish brown hair and brown eyes. Soares was last observed wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and unknown colored shorts.
