Police Renew Request for Information on Hilo Woman Missing Since 2017

Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating 40-year-old Parker Godwin, also known as, Amanda Burnell. She was last seen in early August 2017, in the Kalapana area in Puna.

Godwin is described as having a fair complexion, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 145 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She has a “Led Zeppelin” tattoo on her lower back.

Police ask anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of Godwin to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311, or Lieutenant Rio Amon-Wilkins of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at (808) 961-2252 or email Rio.Amon-Wilkins@hawaiicounty.gov. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at (808) 961-8300. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID.
