Inouye International Airport (HNL) as part of the ongoing Runway and Taxiway Shoulders Rehabilitation Project. Key Dates and Changes
- Reopening of Runway 4R-22L: This runway will reopen at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
- Temporary Closure of Runway 4L-22R: Starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, Runway 4L-22R will be closed for 41 days, with an expected reopening on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
During this period, Runways 8L-26R, 8R-26L, and 4R-22L will remain operational for arrivals and departures.

HDOT anticipates minimal disruption to overall airfield operations. However, travelers may experience delays, particularly on interisland flights during peak hours from mid-morning to early afternoon, as transpacific arrivals will be prioritized due to the reduced runway capacity.
