by Thunda

Hawai’i Island Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 38-year-old Kohl Noho Ikaika Sylva, of Honoka’a, who is wanted on numerous outstanding bench warrants, a warrant of arrest for a burglary, and questioning relative to several other criminal investigations.

Sylva is described as having a thin build, 5-feet-11-inches tall, 160 pounds, with medium length black hair and hazel eyes.  He has numerous tattoos, including a shark on his left arm, tattoos on his right forearm, and “Sylva” on his back.  He is known to frequent the Honoka‘a-Waipio Road area.

The Hawai’i Police Department would like to remind the public that harboring or concealing a wanted person can result in criminal charges against the person who aides the wanted person.

Police ask anyone with information on Sylva’s whereabouts to please call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.  They may also contact Detective Amy Omaya, of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section, at (808) 961-2381 or via e-mail amy.omaya@hawaiicounty.gov.
