Fire Hydrant Flow Test on Kawaihae Harbor July 5-6, 2022

AFFECTED AREA: CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE KAWAIHAE HARBOR AREA FROM THE ENTRANCE ON KAWAIHAE ROAD, TO AND INCLUDING KAEWA PLACE ALONG AKONI PULE HIGHWAY, INCLUDING ANY SIDE ROADS AND LANES; SOUTH KOHALA, HAWAI‘I


The Department of Water Supply will be conducting a fire hydrant flow test within Kawaihae Harbor along Akoni Highway overnight from 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, to 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.


The affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test. Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.
