Hawaiʻi Police Search for Hilo Runaway Anuhea Pinheiro-Basques (LOCATED)

Hawai‘i Island police report that 17-year-old Anuhea Pinheiro-Basque, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located in Hilo on Thursday, July 28, 2022, in good health.


Hawai‘i police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Anuhea Pinheiro-Basques.

Pinheiro-Basques was last seen in the 1700 block of Kinoole Street in Hilo on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 9:00 p.m.

Pinherio-Basques is described as Hawaiian with a small build, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, and 119 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, gray sweat pants, and white shoes.

Police ask anyone with information on either girl’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Oliver Agustin at oliver.agustin@hawaiicounty.gov.
